Position: Project Estimator - Construction - Temporary to Permanent
Job Purpose: Projects and controls construction costs by collecting and studying information; controlling construction cost, submitting bids on time; performing superintendent duties and completing construction tasks as needed.
Job Duties:
Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements: set priorities
Prepare construction budget by studying plans,updating specifications: identifying and projecting cost for each elevation.
Evaluate offers to purchase by cost changes, additions, and site requirements.
Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors b specifying materials: identifying qualified subcontractors, negotiating price.
Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, etc.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements: High school diploma, 2-3 years Industry Experience, Strong Microsoft Office Computer Skills.
